Time just gets away on you and before you know it, it's been 6 months since your last post!!

Since April, I have been doing some really awesome floral bits and pieces including some amazing photoshoots (which for me, are just a fun and creative outlet) as well as some gorgeous weddings along with working full time and keeping my Facebook, Instagram and Website all current as well as trying to maintain a social life and organise my own wedding! Phew! I get a bit exhausted thinking about it!

I have been surprised at the amount of brides opting for Winter weddings, although cold they have been beautiful with most of them opting for a more classic look with white and cream tones.

These bouquets were such a treat to make - filled with cream roses and spray roses, white carnations and finished off with some super pretty imported bouvardia. They really were a Classic Brides dream bouquet I have to say!! Not only were the bouquets gorgeous, the setting in which I was able to create these beauties was magnificent. As it was set in Keri Keri, naturally I had to find some accommodation. I ended up at a stunning Bed & Breakfast called Treghan Luxury Estate, it is absolutely stunning, with amazing hosts, if you are ever planning a romantic trip away - this is the place to go! I can't wait to get back up there!

We have recently also just finished a fun wee Bridal Shoot which was set up in McGrath Estate on the Auckland's rugged West Coast. I just love doing photoshoots as it gives me a chance to create something that I am passionate about and I can use colours and textures that I love. It is always such a buzz doing them, although there is plenty of hard work involved, it is well worth it to see the end result and of coursemeet and work with other amzingly talented people as well!

Every time I watch this video, I see new things that I didn't notice before - Nathan Thomas of Thomas Video kindly shot and edited this for us and he did a stellar job too, coupled with the dream team from Wonderferris photography, it was always going to be a perfectly excecuted shoot!

These two photo below, I just had to add in as an after thought, they are from a styled shoot I did in July for Paper and Lace on Floral Trends for SS 15/16. So much fun working with Ali and her fab team at Ali's Make Up Station, and Mel from Cake Fix with her gorgeous cakes. The photos are courtesy of Kate Tovey Photography, aren't they beautiful?

With Summer just around the corner I know things are going to get even crazier and I can't wait either! I have weddings booked through to March at this stage and a Christmas Shoot just around the corner too!

Stay tuned to see more photos and to find out how I go through my first mad season in the floral industry!

Erin x

..And so the journey begins!

I am beyond excited to be starting my journey in floral design and I am even more excited that I can share it all with you guys!
